Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to commonly asked questions about manuscript reviews, formatting, publishing charges, and certificates.
How do I submit my manuscript to AJETAS?
Authors must first register an account on the AJETAS platform. Once signed in, navigate to the Author Dashboard, click 'Submit Manuscript', select the journal area, input metadata (title, abstract, keywords, and co-authors), and upload the MS Word or LaTeX file. Ensure all figures and tables are embedded inside the text before uploading.
What is the average review time for submissions?
AJETAS is committed to rapid, quality reviews. The typical cycle takes 21 days for reviewers to return ratings. Authors are usually given 7 to 14 days to incorporate comments. The complete process from submission to online release averages between 30 and 45 days.
What are the publication fees (APC) and are there waivers?
The standard Article Processing Charge (APC) for accepted manuscripts is INR 12,000. AJETAS offers student discounts (INR 8,000) and complete waiver programs for invited authors or researchers hailing from developing countries. You can apply for waivers directly during the submission step.
How do I obtain my publication certificate?
Upon typesetting and final release, the system automatically generates an official publication certificate for all authors. You can download this from your Author Dashboard. Additionally, colleagues can verify certificates using our public verification tool under the 'Verify' menu.
Can I withdraw my paper after submission?
Papers can be withdrawn during the review stage. However, authors must send a formal signed withdrawal request explaining the rationale. Once a paper is approved and sent to typesetting/production, it cannot be withdrawn.
What is the refund policy for publication fees?
AJETAS publication fees (APC) are only processed AFTER a manuscript is officially peer-reviewed and accepted for publishing. Once paid and typeset, refunds cannot be processed since typesetting, DOI registry, and database syncs incur permanent costs.
